DUBAI

　　Over the past few months we have been corresponding with a prestigious distributor in Dubai, the Arab Emirates with a view to having Imperial ware installed in projects in that area. In June I visited Dubai and signed a distributors agreement with Al Futtaim who have such well known brands as Mercedes, Toyota, Sony, etc in their portfolio.
    
    I was impressed with the high level of building activity in Dubai and was informed that all of the Arab Emirates are under a construction boom. I am very optimistic that with Al Futtaim help Imperial can obtain a lot of business there over the next few years.
    
    Dubai is a very advanced city with many wealthy people from the middle east and Africa, investing in property. The city is very clean, well organized and the people friendly. The only negative aspect was the temperature, on the days I was there it was 44℃ extremely hot.
