Sales Conference2007

On the 10^th of this month we received a delegation from Australian, New Zealand and England offices. This year Imperial manufacturing, Zhongshan was the venue for the fourth annual sales conference.

The visitors arrived into Hong Kong on the 8^th 9^th and 10^th and visited the H.K.R development of Discovery Bay. They then made their way by ferry to Zhongshan, arriving around 6 o’clock and then after checking in to their hotel met at The Imperial staff quarters for a barbeque.

The night commenced with a Chinese welcome with fireworks and after chatting eating and drinking for some time further fireworks finished an enjoyable evening.

The following morning was the start of the official meeting and discussions in the conference. Our Managing director welcomed the delegation and made his wishes that all would get some benefit from the conference but that they should also enjoy themselves while here.

Presentations were given by all delegates about the sales and future forecasts in their respective areas.   Greg explained in his presentations about the introduction of new product and strategy for changes in the manufacturing facilities direction. The introduction of new products such as Acrylic baths was good news for all as it expands their possibilities for sales.

All delegates attended a factory tour, which everybody, especially those who had not seen it before, said was very interesting and beneficial.

It gave some insights to the process that all would be able to use when selling and servicing the product in the market.

The delegates were very happy to be able to exchange ideas with the people from other countries in the way their products are marketed.

For many this was the first time to China and they had many questions about the way things are done here. Some of them treated themselves to a foot massage, which was a new and enjoyable experience, not available at home.

On Tuesday night the conference was officially closed.  Participants agreed that a successful, beneficial and enjoyable time had  been experienced by all.
